Brazer of Manufactured Assemblies

    Is the brazer of a manufactured assembly required to be an ASSE 6010 or just a qualified brazer per ASME or AWS?

    No, they should be qualified to ASME or AWS. This is a manufacturing process and is not covered by ASSE 6000. These could also be dissimilar metals and and are not brazed using BCuP filler material. Some of the components might even be furnace brazed.
