For anyone who may be interested, there is a nice article in the July, 2015 edition of BPPS (Backflow Prevention & Plumbing Standards,) written by Ed Lyczko. The article is about the upcoming 2015 revision of ASSE Series 6000, and it also mentions that the date for the first draft meeting of the NFPA 99 - 2018 HEA-PIP working group is scheduled for August 10 - 12, 2015, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Seriously, when will the design professional have an ASSE 6000 series related credential?

Most problems I have seen in the past few years has less to do with installers, inspectors and verifiers. Design professionals with PE after their names have not been on board with the code. Their mistakes or misinterpretations have a much larger impact on a given project than any of the other disciplines mentioned above.

I am a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in California but there was still a learning curve I had to prove to become a Medical Gas Verifier.

    Fair is fair.
