I would encourage everyone to look at the up coming 2018 NFPA 99 code  concerning oxygen generators. There are items in this NEW code that are in conflict with other sections of NFPA 99 Chapter 5 and things not covered. But in my opinion, oxygen generators do have a place in healthcare and are of value with a proper risk assessment.
