    Is a statement that this product is intended to be used with a filtered vacuum system.

    The factory has been slow to get back to me / so my question is:


    1) is it the filter in the suction canister at the regulator in the patient room  ?


    or


    2) is it the HEPA Filters listed in the 2018 Edition of NFPA 99 ?

    Al, thank you for sharing this information with us. I was unaware that this was in the field. I can see an

    unusually high demand placed on our vacuum systems. It appears the company does not supply any type of filtration and there is really no filtration other than if hospitals have installed HEPA filters prior to the vacuum pumps. It also means anybody servicing vacuum outlets or any other products need to be aware of the potential hazards.

    A vacuum outlet does not generally see 24/7 high vac usage. Similar to over taxing our oxygen system I see that potential with the vacuum system.

    This company has many great products in healthcare for patient use.

    BUT on this listed product, I still have several questions.

    The factory has not responded to my 3 attempts for conversation.
