Per the Bylaws these are the requirements and descriptions of the 3 BOD positions:
Vice President, Structure (Technical): In the absence of the President, the Vice President, Technical shall perform all the duties of the President, and when so acting shall have all the powers of, and be subject to all the restrictions of, the President. The Vice‑President, Technical shall also be responsible for planning, organizing and directing the technical activities of the Organization.
Vice President, Membership: The Vice President, Membership shall be responsible for recruiting new members, planning all membership activities, and maintaining a file on Organization members.
Vice President, Education:
The Vice President of Education shall be responsible for proposal to the Board of Directors for Education Seminars. Additional duties shall include contacting speakers for meetings and presentations.
Per the Policy Operation Manual:
Election of Officers. The officers shall be elected for a term of three (3) years.
The President, VP Structure (Technical), VP Legal, VP Membership, VP Finance, VP Credentials, & VP Education must be voting members. The President shall not serve more than two consecutive terms. All elected officers must be in good standing.
The Board of Directors shall not have more than one member from the same company.
Officers shall be elected on a staggered basis. A minimum of two (2) BOD positions shall be available for election every term.
No person shall be eligible to serve as BOD in this organization until that person has a period of good standing not less than twelve (12) consecutive months immediately preceding such person’s elections to their office.
Officers shall take office on the day of the election. The retiring officer shall complete and transfer all records to the new officers within thirty (30) days.
