I just received notice that the design engineer has determined that these gas systems do not need to be this large. Disregard this post.

Has anyone seen or been involved with the installation of medical air and instrument air piping with pipe sizes of 10″ or 12″?

Working on a project in which the design engineer is indicating these large pipe sizes for a high-rise hospital.

Jonathan, There is intended to be a new clause specific for vacuum which is the analogue of the patient gases clause (still to be voted of course).
